Vyacheslav Gryaznov is a concert pianist and arranger, author of more than 40 concert arrangements. He has gained a reputation as one of the most remarkable young arrangers working today. In 2015 Gryaznov signed a publishing contract with Schott Music.
In 2022, Vyacheslav founded and became the Artistic Director of the PianoFete, an annual piano duo festival on Vashon Island (Seattle area, WA, USA). The festival focuses on presenting world-class performers, programs expanding the repertoire for two pianos, and featuring original works, sometimes written specially for the festival.
An ambitious recording project, with the participation of the Austrian Radio Symphony Orchestra (ORF) and the conductor Wayne Marshall, is scheduled for release in February 2026. The new album will present Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Gryaznov's own Rhapsody in Black based on the themes from Porgy and Bess. This project has been made possible thanks to a new collaboration with the Luc Walter Foundation, Little Tribeca management agency and a French recording label Aparte.
During the pandemic of 2020-2022, Vyacheslav developed an idea and a software realization of a virtual orchestra platform G-Phil, allowing musicians to practice and perform instrumental concertos live with unprecedented flexibility and quality of orchestral accompaniment. The project has been in active development since then, and quite a few musicians already used it for live performances across the globe.
Gryaznov's 2021 recording of Western Transcriptions on the Master Performers label joined his previous album of Russian Transcriptions on the Steinway & Sons label, released in 2018 as a part of his 1st prize at the New York Concert Artists Worldwide Audition (2016). Both volumes are available on all major streaming platforms.
Vyacheslav Gryaznov is a prize-winner of international competitions in Italy, Ukraine, Denmark, Georgia, Japan, and Russia (including six first and Grand prizes) and a frequent guest at international festivals, the pianist has toured in many countries of Europe, CIS, Africa, Japan, the United States, and throughout Russia.
